well I’m back on track. Did my first run last night and am getting around to some maintenance with these challenges. I invites everyone (who uploaded at least one run) from this month to the September Challenge. I also added the limit-indication (greyed out names) which I’ve forgotten before I went on holidays. Of course I won’t kick anyone now that the month is almost over.

Let’s get back to running (ok, I’m talking to myself ;)

@Aimee & Bosstjanz: I’m really sorry if those »beginners« somewhat spoil the challenge. If I catch them (ie. if I have the time to maintain the challenge) I usually kick them right away. As long as I’m out of town all I can say is: enjoy your runs – pick someone that seems to be running in about the same league and don’t worry about the rest. I do feel like I have to apologise, but there is really nothing I can do about it. It’s great to have you back though!

I also have a few things to add to what Bosstjanz said. One month, I was cruising along nicely, having a very nice competition with mns333 (I think that was her handle… I hope she’s in my bracket again this month!) and then the last day some clown finally syncs his nano and shoots over us by 30 miles (and going way over the max). He claimed something about being away for two weeks, but I still though it was cheap.

So, Bosstjanz, I really understand what you mean. I hope I am in your bracket too.

I am third on list and first on my nikeplus.com webpage… But…I have some opinion.

It’s very lonely at the top…
I think I’ll never run to win in some challenge any more. Why?

I think there are some runners, which are more “advanced” than beginners. I think they erase previous log (to see how many km’s they summarize), or just put last run for about 70m – just to hide previous run.
When I got informations how you can easily manually adapt (upgrade, alter,…) your runs, I was really sorry.

In July I had luck to run more than before, since my kids were at my friends place. I ran in the morning and in the evening, – but this is not valid rule, right? I ran over 5km per run too- not valid, though. So??

There is complete luck to “win” a challenge. Who wins: first at “green list” or first at all (grey one)?

In May, I was “in the middle of crush” (around 200 number) and it was really fun to run!!! I overtake one runner, and next day he/she overtaken me. If I meet her/him alive, I’ll greet him/her more than a winner…

…Just because we all run for ourselves, not just to win. To have support and motivation during runs.

I salute to all runners “in the middle”: they work much more harder than others. They are not “lazy bastards”, and they are not also competitors. They make run fun.!!!

Keep good work tmb and keep an eye on rules for next challenge!
